The Bridge Program



The Bridge Program was established as part of the University College to serve the needs of adult learners who want to pursue their undergraduate education primarily during the day, while meeting their responsibilities to family, career and community.
  • The Bridge Program is for you if...

    - you are 22 years of age or older
    - you want to enroll in undergraduate day courses on a full-time or part-time basis
    - you want to combine undergraduate day and evening classes
    - you have unique scheduling needs
    - you have interrupted or delayed your college education
    - you want to enhance or change your career
    - you are looking for personal and professional growth

Bridge Scholarship Requirements

  1. 3.5 gpa required; 3.3 or above is considered
  2. Associate Degree or a minimum of 60 transferable credits
  3. Completion of FAFSA application (SJU code 003367)
  4. Full-time study at SJU with a minimum of 12 credits/semester

Scholarships are awarded for fall and spring semesters.  The average award is $5,000 per year.  Deadlines for scholarship applications are May 15 for fall semester and November 15 for spring semester.
