C.P.M. Review Registration Process
After you complete and submit the CPM Review Online application:
- Application is received through e-mail and procesed within a 24 hour period.
- After processing is complete, you will receive a confirmation e-mail which will contain your user name and password, and a course syllabus for that module.
- Your user name and password will allow you to log onto MySJU and Blackboard, which is where the course is offered.
- Be sure to review the Blackboard Tutorial which takes you through how Blackboard works. The link for this tutorial is: http://www.sju.edu/ims/video/BBtutorial.htm
- Ordering textbooks - Books required are listed below:
Required:
- World Class Supply Management: The Key to Supply Chain Management", David Burt, Dobler, D., Starling, S., (7th Edition), McGrawHill/Irwin- item #B53.
- C.P.M. Study Guide, 7th Edition, Raedals, Alan R. (Editor), National Association of Purchasing Management, Inc. 2000 - item #1002.
Optional:
- Articles for C.P.M. Exam Preparation (2003 Edition) - item#10052.
The above materials are utilized for all four modules and vailable through ISM by calling 800-888-6276, x401 or online at www.ism.ws.
- What to expect from the professor (Robert Wislowski):
- Access Blackboard on Monday of each week and check out the announcement section which automatically comes up. Any special directions for the week's assignment will be found there.
- The professor will monitor a discussion board on Thursday evenings live from 7:00-8:30 pm.
- You may access the system at your convenience to take the weekly quiz and to review discussion board threads. The professor is available via e-mail for any questions (rwislows@sju.edu).
- There is also a read-me-first document in the course intro section that will explain how the course is structured.
