University College/Delaware County Community College Dual Admission Partnership
Saint Joseph's University is proud to announce the completion of the Dual Admission Partnership with University College and Delaware County Community College. As part of the Dual Admissions Agreement, Delaware County Community College (DCCC) graduates are guaranteed admission into Saint Joseph's University College for Undergraduate Continuing Studies for select bachelor degree programs, if they have completed and submitted a "Dual Admissions Intent" form on or before completion of forty-five transferable credits; graduate from DCCC with a designated Associate in Arts (A.A.), Associate in Science (A.S.) or select Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree; satisfy University College transfer admission requirements.
Eight associate degree programs at DCCC are designated as part of the Dual Admission agreement:
- Administration of Justice
- Behavior Science
- Business Administration
- Communication Arts
- Education
- Health Care Management
- Liberal Arts
- Paralegal Studies
The Dual Admission Agreement does not alter University College's admission standards or its requirements for various major fields. Students are encouraged to follow the DCCC-SJU program-to-program curriculum agreements to avoid losing credit. Students must be admitted directly to Saint Joseph's University, University College within five years of completing an associate degree program.
