Developing Your Mental Model of Leadership
OVERVIEW:
This intensive three day program, spread over three consecutive months, focuses on understanding and implementing the 8 Factor ModelTM (8FM) of Personal Effectiveness which is fundamental to Leadership Development. It is our belief that one's Leadership mental model must be based on a solid foundation. The 8FM provides this foundation by relying on both assessment and understanding of the eight well-researched factors in personal effectiveness and vision creation. The factors are as follows: Career Development Cycle, Abilities, Skills, Interests, Personality, Family of Origin, Values, and Goals. The overall intent of the three days is to offer the participant a semi-structured learning milieu and the tools to create their own mental model of leadership model based on their own unique history, talents and experiences. It is highly recommended that participants participants participate in all three of these programs for maximum benefit.
