The wonderful and inspiring work of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital has caught the attention of many of the leading retailers in America. Proud to be supportive of our worthwhile cause, corporations are realizing that St. Jude is “the world’s charity for children” and have lasting relationships with us. Following are a few of our major corporate partnership programs.
Target Corporation
Target Corporation is proud to support Target House, a 96-apartment complex in Memphis, Tenn., that gives families a home-like place to stay while their children are undergoing long-term treatment. Since its opening, nearly 510 families from 38 states and 26 countries have called Target House their home. Target’s ongoing support and commitment to Target House comes through golf tournaments, employee events, dinners and vendor events, as well as through the donation of a portion of every pharmacy purchase at Target.
Target participated in the 2004 Thanks & Giving program by raising $1.2 million through the sale of the St. Jude Target gift card during the holiday season. In addition, the Target/Chip Ganassi Indy Car Racing Team has donated money by tying its performance on the track to specific donations to St. Jude.

Through Math-A-Thon, students complete math problems from a St. Jude math book or CD and raise money based on pledges for math problems worked. Jewelers for Children
The Jewelers for Children (JFC) was created by the entire jewelry industry with the mission of raising money for charities that primarily benefit children. While the jewelry industry has a long-standing tradition of charitable giving, it was in 1999 that the JFC was formally organized. The group is led by a volunteer executive committee comprised of leaders from all facets of the industry – retailers, manufacturers and representatives of trade organizations. The JFC raises funds through collection canisters in jewelry stores, employee giving, and the annual “Facets of Hope” dinner, which takes place during one of the jewelry industry’s largest gatherings of the year inLas Vegas.
Over the past six years, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital has benefited from the JFC’s generosity with their $1.5 million endowment of St. Jude’s cutting-edge Bone Marrow Transplant Clinic, which was renamed the Jewelers for Children Bone Marrow Transplant Clinic in honor of their outstanding contribution. The JFC also made a donation of $600,000 to endow the Stem Cell Transplantation Laboratory at St. Jude.
