Dr. Fillibrown and I are the faculty advisors for students interested in teaching secondary school mathematics.
The undergraduate and graduate programs are described on the
Mathematics and Computer Science Department
home page. Mathematics courses in the graduate program in education are offered in the
evenings.
For other information of interest to teachers, you might want to visit my readling
list, the web sites listed below and other web sites listed on my "web site" page. There are also funds available for teachers to
improve themselves and the teaching of mathematics. This is supported by the Matheamtics Eduction Trust (MET),
available through the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics.
There are $10,000 scholarships for college sophomores interested in teaching, and $2000 - $3000
scholarships for graduate course work that will improve a teacher's understanding of mathematics. Finally, the Knoll's Foundation has fellowships
for seniors and students in the five-year B.S./Master's in Mathematics Education program.

Harcourt Math Glossary is an interactive
math glossary for students in kindergarten through grade 6 that provides a searchable database of math terms, accompanied by illustrations and animated examples.
Henri Picciotto's Mathematics Education Page contains articles and worksheets that emphasize the use of
manipulative and technological tools in secondary school mathematics.
