Errata

It is unfortunate that our textbook contains some errors. We apologize for that, and will work hard to eliminate all of them in the second printing of the text. There are basically two kinds of errors. First, there are those are either unimportant, in that they do not hinder understanding the mathematics, or whose "fixes" are obvious to even the casual reader. Second, there are those whose "fixes" must be explained and are important to the exposition. Luckily, we have found few of the second type. To see the first type, click here: http://www.sju.edu/~dhecker/trivial.html. To see the more important errors, click here: http://www.sju.edu/~dhecker/nontrivial.html. If you have found an error in the text that is not listed on either of these pages, please go back to the main Linear Algebra page and click on the "Questions or Comments?" link to send me email describing the error.

Thank you.
