Principles of Programming Languages
Dr. J.P.E. Hodgson
Summer 2000

This is the entry point for my summer course on Principles of Programming Languages. The content of the course is somewhat untraditional in that rather then relegating the functional and logical paradigms to the "back of the book " they are the main body of the course. The reason for this is to be able to devote some time to assisting studnets understand other programing paradigms from both a practical and theoretical viewpoint. It is hoped that the problem solving skills of those who take the course will be improved as a consequence.
