Project Outline

You are to provide software for a library maintenance system. Patrons will be able to consult the catalog from a terminal that will allow them to list books by author, subject or title. In addition they will be able to determine whether the book is on the shelf. Library staff will be able to use the system to record loans and book returns. The system will be able to report a list of overdue books oderd by date and sorted by patron. Adequate security must be provide so that an patron cannot access the staff system.

  2. A prototype
  3. A critical evaluation of the prototype with a design for the second version
  4. A test scenario for the final product
  5. The final product
