First Test
The first test can be taken either

Wednesday, February 28th, 1:00--2:15, Barbelin 229

Thursday, March 1st, 6:15--7:30, location TBA
The test will cover Sections 1.1-1.3, 2.1-2.3, and 3.1-3.5 (note
that you will not be tested on 1.4 and 1.5). You may bring a 5x7
index card with any information you think will be helpful on it.
You will not be allowed to use your book or other notes on the test.
Test problems will be similar in format to homework problems. The
best way to study for the test is to go over your homework, class notes,
and textbook.
If you have the Acrobat Reader, you
can check out the test
