Second Assignment, Due October 30th, 2001

Please carefully read the assignment. You will be assigned one of assignment A, B, or C. You are to do only the assignment that I give to you. If you have any questions, e-mail me. If you were not in class to receive your assignment, e-mail me and I will send you the letter of the assignment you are to do.

You are to hand in a floppy disk with the model you built on it. The model should be in a file, and I should be able to open the model, and run the model immediately. Each model will be graded out of a possible 50 points, and I will grade you on whether the model represents what was assigned and whether all the components were properly built and put together. If you want me to look at your model, bring in a floppy with your model and we will look at it together.

In addition to the floppy, you should produce a one or two page summary of the results (no cover page needed) from your simulation answering the questions and providing the data mentioned in the problem specification. The model will be worth 40 points and your summary will be worth 10 points.

Copied assignments will be given zero credit. The assignment is due at the start of class on October 30th, and I will take off 5 points each day the assignment is late. All problems appear in chapter 5 in the book.

Within the model you must make it perfectly clear who the model belongs to by using a text box. I will take off points if you do not do this.
