Class this weekWe covered all of Sect. 5.1 yesterday and will cover the rest of 5.2 and hopefully most of 5.3 on Wednesday. That would put us on pace for 5.4 on Monday and the exam on Wednesday before Fall Break. I'll have to think about whether splines could be on the exam or not.

Class last week and nextWe finished covering chapter 4 and will start on Interpolation on Monday. We will then have a mid-term following this chapter. We will have one more homework set before the exam.

The problem 4.1.10(c) is not very clear, so I will not be grading that part of the problem and you will not be responsible for doing it.
