Saint Joseph's University is the recipient of a National Science Foundation, NSF, grant under the Computer Science, Engineering, and Mathematics (CSEMS) Program. The program aims to provide an incentive for qualified but financially needy students to enter the workforce with a baccalaureate degree in computer science or mathematics. The incentive is to provide competitive need-based scholarships in the amount of $3125 per academic year renewable.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Be a United States citizen, national, refugee alien, or permanent resident alien at the time of application;
2. Have demonstrated financial need; applicants must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, (FAFSA), form with the University Financial Aid Office;
3. Be enrolled or intending to enroll as a full-time, degree-seeking student majoring in mathematics or computer science at Saint Joseph's with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5;
4. Intending to pursue a career associated with mathematics or computer science in the United Sates after earning an undergraduate degree.
