You should also be aware of two important federal programs when calculating and reviewing your options. One is the College Cost Reductions and Access Act, which caps (Federal) loan repayment based on your family income, and forgives any remaining debt after making payments for 25 years, or for 10 years in public service jobs.
Through the Yellow Ribbon Program, SJU offers tuition reimbursement to eligible military personnel, veterans and their families. To learn more about the services offered to our veterans, please visit sju.edu/veterans.
Tuition reimbursement and deferral
Students who receive tuition reimbursement from their employers may participate in our employer tuition deferral program. You will need to provide proof of employment, a copy of your company's reimbursement policy and a $35 non-refundable processing fee. Your company must agree to pay Saint Joseph's University directly within 30 days after the final day of the semester. This program saves the student from "fronting" the money and waiting for their tuition reimbursement check.
