Sofia Fallas '18 has been a member of the Hawk Hill community for over half a decade. From giving tours as a student, to now a professional member of the Office of Undergraduate Admission, she has dedicated her time and passion for higher education to the Saint Joseph's community.
As a proud first-generation Latina of two Costa Rican immigrants, she has embedded her passion for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in her role as an Admission Counselor. Sofia is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Organizational Development and Leadership with a concentration in Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging.
Sofia has recently taken on the role as supervisor for Hawk Hosts, our team of Saint Joseph's tour guides. Having been a Hawk Host herself in her undergraduate career, she looks forward to opportunities to connect with current students and provide them with the tools and experiences to share the SJU community with prospective students and families.
Sofia is an active member of the Pennsylvania Association for College Admission Counseling (PACAC) and the Potomac & Chesapeake Association for College Admission Counseling (PCACAC). She has served as part of PACAC's Professional Development Committee through their DEI Subcommittee and looks to continue her involvement moving forward.
