Eric Folkins, PT, DPT, DHSc is an Associate Professor and has been in academia since 2011. He is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Specialist and has a passion for education and service to the physical therapy profession. He served on California Education Task Force,  Academic and Residency Collaborative, Annual Conference Task Force and PA District Program Committee. He currently is Chair of the Academy of Orthopaedic Education and a member for the last 5 years. His research interests are in the area of orthopedic pathologies involving the cervical and lumbar spine, manipulation, pedagogy, strength and conditioning and student wellness. Dr. Folkins’ has been recognized for his research at the local, state, and national levels.

  • Dr. Folkins has practiced in many areas of physical therapy since 1994. His primary areas of expertise include orthopaedics and vestibular rehabilitation, but has also practiced in acute care, wound management and cardiovascular and pulmonary physical therapy.
