Saint Joseph's University was founded by the Jesuits — visionary Catholic priests and educators who prioritized social justice, the pursuit of excellence, service to others, and the development of the whole person, or, cura personalis. One of only 28 universities and colleges nationwide exemplifying this 500-year- old Jesuit tradition, SJU offers each of its students an educational experience that will hone their skills, expand their knowledge, grow their faith and strengthen their character.
The Haub School Degree Completion program at Saint Joseph’s University welcomes applications from those students currently attending local community colleges or who have credits from various other accredited colleges and/or universities.
Students transferring into the Haub Degree Completion Program with prior credits can transfer in up to 75 credits (25 courses) to a Bachelor's degree program or up to 30 credits (10 courses) to an Associate's degree program. Official transcripts are required from each college/university attended, and courses will be reviewed for each individual student based on the curriculum requirements of the specific major selected, credits earned, and grades received.
Students earning a business degree from Saint Joseph's University are required to take at least half of their business core and major electives combined from Saint Joseph's University.
Students interested in transferring to SJU through the Haub Degree Completion Program are encouraged to contact the HDC office at firstname.lastname@example.org or 610-660-2250 for further information regarding course transferability and, if applicable, advising on future course selection to maximize potential transferability to Saint Joseph's University.
