Professional Studies – General Studies BLS

The professional studies concentration within the general studies major allows students the flexibility to choose coursework that best suits their personal and professional goals. The concentration differs from others in that once the foundation courses are completed, students are free to select from a wide variety of subjects to fulfill electives. The professional studies concentration is ideal for students who either want a broad, well-rounded education in several topics or for those who would like to take classes to meet specific professional development or career goals not covered in another major or minor. The concentration gives students the flexibility to study the topics they wish such as leadership, communications, health administration, labor studies or purchasing, the ability to transfer more credits toward a degree, and the convenient scheduling they need.
