Behavior Analysis: Criminal Justice Post-Master's

Format Offered: On Campus or Online

Criminal justice majors often find themselves serving the public and their communities, an embodiment of the Jesuit ideal of service. The typical student ranges from an individual with an interest in the topic to a seasoned veteran with decades of service. This program is designed to provide both theoretical and practical knowledge, while Saint Joseph’s Criminal Justice and Public Safety Institute gives students access to key industry ties and strong community throughout the region.

Courses in criminology, juvenile justice, social deviance and theories of crime are paired with a well-rounded knowledge of accounting, philosophy, and other applicable areas of study that provide a humanistic perspective to careers in the field. Graduates hold positions in traditional law enforcement fields in police and court-related occupations, as well as administrative positions in law, criminal justice and private security. The curriculum at Saint Joseph’s provides an easy transition to graduate programs in law, sociology or criminal justice.

The criminal justice program at Saint Joseph’s is grounded in ethics and offers a strong liberal arts background, preparing students to make a positive impact in their own lives and community.
