Rising Demand for Cybersecurity Experts

From major retailers to the federal government, employers are putting greater emphasis on cybersecurity – to protect everything from consumer data to the nation's critical information technology systems.

According to the Department of Homeland Security, the range of crime being perpetrated through cyberspace is only increasing, including production and distribution of banking and financial fraud and intellectual property violations. Innovative analysts who can prevent hackers from stealing critical information, intercept potential problems for computer networks, and work to build safeguards are in high demand.
