Superintendent's Letter of Eligibility
Saint Joseph’s superintendent’s letter of eligibility program is designed for experienced K-12 administrators to obtain certification in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to serve as a superintendent or assistant superintendent of schools.
The program is aligned with the three core and six corollary Pennsylvania Leadership Standards and incorporates the proven practices of leader preparation programs that have demonstrated a link to improved student achievement. Comprehensive and relevant curriculum is offered in conjunction with field experiences. The faculty is highly qualified and includes researchers as well as experienced practitioners.
The demand for quality education professionals is on the rise. Building upon our existing expertise in this sector, Saint Joseph's University has created a School of Health Studies and Education, which will officially open in the Fall of 2019. Over 40 existing undergraduate, graduate, doctoral and certificate programs, including this one, will be housed in this school.
