“What makes Saint Joseph’s environmental science degree unique is that in addition to acquiring a strong foundation in the physical sciences, students develop an appreciation for their responsibility as stewards of the natural environment, including the air, water, soil and even built environments. Environmental science students also are exposed to real world experiences through our internship program in which participants have worked with the Lower Merion Conservancy, the Philadelphia Zoo, Fairmount Park, the U.S. Department of the Interior, to name only a few.”
