Graduates Commit to Serve with Local, National and International Service Programs

Thursday, June 8, 2017

Saint Joseph’s University is pleased to announce that 33 members of the Class of 2017 have committed to serve with 16 local, national or international postgraduate service programs. In addition, a member of the Class of 2016 will join the ACESJU program, increasing the number of postgraduate volunteers to 34.

Full-time positions will take graduates to sites as far away as Piura, Peru, and Kampala, Uganda, and as near as South Philadelphia, in fields ranging from youth development to promoting health and gender equity.

“Saint Joseph’s is proud to recognize these graduates who are committing a year or more of their lives to serving others and the greater good,” says University President Mark C. Reed, Ed.D. “It's gratifying to know that each person has found a meaningful way to further the Jesuit mission.”
