Monday, July 11, 2016

Saint Joseph’s University is pleased to announce that 33 members of the Class of 2016 have committed to serve at 17 local, national or international postgraduate service programs.

Full-time positions will take graduates to sites as far as Chile and Cameroon, and as close as South Philadelphia, in fields ranging from refugee services to environmental conservation and teaching in underserved communities.

In addition, two members of the Class of 2015 have also continued their participation in service programs, increasing the number of postgraduate volunteers to 35.

“Saint Joseph’s University is proud to recognize these graduates who are committing a year or more of their lives to serving others and the greater good,” says University President Mark C. Reed, Ed.D. “It's gratifying to know that each person has found a meaningful way to take our Jesuit mission out to the world.”
