    Former NATO Head to Address SJU Veterans Services Speaker Series

    The SJU Office of Veterans Services will host Anders Fogh Rasmussen, the 12th Secretary General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, on Thursday, Nov. 16, at 7 p.m., in the Wolfington Teletorium at Mandeville Hall. Rasmussen, who is also the former prime minister of Denmark, will offer his remarks, “NATO: Past, Present and Future,” following a reception at 6:15 p.m., in the Mandeville Hall lobby.

    The harvest abounds at Saint Joseph's Kinney Center for Autism Education and Support, where students on the spectrum are tasting herbs and vegetables they planted this summer. The Kinney Center purchased the aeroponic gardening system after receiving a grant from the Whole Foods' Whole Kids Foundation.

Yet, for many people on the autism spectrum, interacting with strangers and overwhelming lights and sounds can be challenging. To best prepare its clients, SJU’s Kinney Center for Autism Education and Support will host its fourth annual Fall Fest on Friday, Oct. 20.

    Saint Joseph’s is pleased to announce that six Ignatian College Connection scholars have joined the University this semester as first-year students. Founded in 2004 by then-President Timothy R. Lannon S.J., and George Bur S.J., then-rector of the University’s Jesuit Community, the ICC allows high school students of diverse backgrounds to learn about the college experience and Saint Joseph’s through yearlong programming held on campus.
  • Graduate Business Student Receives Main Line Chamber of Commerce Scholarship

    Anushka Baral, of Kathmandu, Nepal, has earned the Main Line Chamber of Commerce Gold Leaf Scholarship, awarded to outstanding female leaders. Baral received the scholarship last month. She is currently enrolled in the second year of HSB's graduate business intelligence and analytics program.

    Brian Brogan, M.S., CMT, has been named the director of Saint Joseph’s University’s Initiative for Family Business and Entrepreneurship (IFBE), which is housed in the Erivan K. Haub School of Business. Brogan is the president and founder of Brogan Group Investment Advisors LLC, located in Rydal, Pennsylvania, and is a member of both the Chartered Financial Analyst Society of Philadelphia and the Mid-Atlantic Hedge Fund Association.
  • HSB and UN to Sign Agreement Promoting Sustainable Management Education

    Saint Joseph’s University’s Erivan K. Haub School of Business (HSB) will announce a historic partnership with the United Nations-supported Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) initiative on Thursday, Oct. 12. Both organizations will develop a new data analytics tool, the PRME SDG (Sustainable Development Goal) Dashboard, to assess business schools’ success in delivering socially and environmentally sustainable management education.
