Dual Admission Agreement Opens New Pathways to Success

The agreement offers students from Pennsylvania Institute of Technology guaranteed admission into select adult learner bachelor’s programs at Saint Joseph’s upon successful completion of an associate degree in related majors.

Saint Joseph’s University and Pennsylvania Institute of Technology (PIT) now support a dual admission partnership. The agreement offers students from the two-year college, based in Media, Pennsylvania, guaranteed admission into select adult learner bachelor’s programs at Saint Joseph’s upon successful completion of an associate degree in related majors.

“Like Saint Joseph’s, Pennsylvania Institute of Technology offers students a challenging education that prepares them for in-demand careers,” says Liz Gatti, director of transfer and adult admission at Saint Joseph’s. “This partnership will allow students who excel at PIT to transfer all of their credits, continue their education and earn advanced degrees at Saint Joseph’s.”

The agreement covers program-to-program transfers with the following majors:

PIT Associate Degree Programs

SJU Bachelor’s Degree Programs

Behavioral Health

Bachelor of Liberal Studies (BLS) in General Studies, Autism Studies Concentration
BLS in Psychological Studies

Business Management

Bachelor of Business Administration in various business majors

Criminal Justice

BLS in Criminal Justice Studies

Health Care Management

BLS in Health Administration

Students must acquire a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher at PIT to be eligible for transfer to Saint Joseph’s. Scholarships are available to qualified applicants with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
