Saint Joseph's junior Freke van Tilburg was named to the NFHCA All-America Second Team, the organization announced on Tuesday morning. She becomes the seventh student-athlete in program history to earn All-America honors and the fifth over the past six seasons.

The A-10's leading scorer, van Tilburg totaled 14 goals, six assists and 34 points on the season. The Breda, Netherlands, product was voted onto the All-Mid-Atlantic Region First Team in her first season on Hawk Hill, and was also an Atlantic 10 All-Conference First Team selection as well.

Van Tilburg was named both the Atlantic 10 Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week on separate occasions; after scoring three times against then-#4 North Carolina and then-#8 Rutgers, she was also tabbed as the NFHCA's National Offensive Player of the Week on Sept. 15.

She is the seventh different student-athlete to earn All-America accolades in program history; those seven have now combined for 11 such honors. This season, van Tilburg's efforts helped the Hawks to their fifth Atlantic 10 regular season championship in six years, their fourth A-10 postseason crown in five years, and the fourth NCAA Tournament berth in program history.
