<p>Three Haub School of Business students were finalists in the Delaware Valley Risk Management and Insurance Society’s (RIMS) annual college essay competition hosted by Saint Joseph's University on March 20. Leonard Markert ’12 and Brian Allen ’12 placed third in the competition, and Jill Feeney ’12 placed first in the regional essay competition, earning a $1,000 scholarship.</p>

<p>APRIL 11, 2012 (PHILADELPHIA) – “Eleven on the Thirteenth,” the 2012 Saint Joseph’s University Senior Art Thesis Exhibition, will open on Friday, April 13, marking the 13th year of the annual showcase. Held in the new gallery on the second floor of Merion Hall on the James J. Maguire ’58 Campus, this year’s exhibition features the collected works of 11 student-artists working with pastels, ceramics, painting and photography.

The 12th annual Take Back the Night Vigil will be held Wednesday, April 18 at 7 p.m. in the Chapel of St. Joseph-Michael J. Smith, S.J. Memorial. The event is organized and hosted by SJU’s award-winning REPP (Rape Education and Prevention Program) group and calls attention to sexual and physical violence against women.
