Welcome to The Saint Joseph's University E-Store

Clinical attire is designed to meet appropriate professional standards as well as act as an identifier of student status. Students should refer to program-specific handbooks and specific clinical locations for detailed descriptions of appropriate clinical attire.

Students will be advised by faculty of the appropriate time to wear the clinical uniform. Students may not wear uniforms outside of school sanctioned functions. Exceptions to the clinical uniform that are related to cultural or religious beliefs may be granted by the Program Director upon written request of the student.

PA College/SJU Merger & Clinical Uniform Update

In anticipation of the merger with Saint Joseph’s University, PA College students still have access to the same seamless ordering system and high-quality products for clinical uniform requirements, now with updated Saint Joseph’s Univeristy branding.

We know that clinical uniforms are an expense for our students. Therefore, PA College uniforms will be gradually phased out.

Fall 2024 Semester	SJU Clinical Uniforms Required for all students.

Any students who have not previously purchased a PA College uniform and will be enrolled in their first clinical courses in January 2024 will be required to purchase and wear Saint Joseph's uniforms in Spring 2024.

Saint Joseph’s will be providing one replacement clinical uniform to each student who has already invested in a clinical uniform to help offset the cost of new uniforms. Look for an future email during the week of December 4th with your personalized code.

Allied Health Students

The clinical uniform must be purchased through the approved vendor (https://sju.estore.shop/) and consists of the following:

Pewter gray pair of scrub pants or skirt (skirt may be no shorter than knee length)
Pewter gray scrub top with the name of the University
With the permission of the instructor, agency or unit, a pewter gray snap-front warm-up jacket with the name of the University
With the permission of the instructor, agency or unit, a plain solid white shirt (short or long sleeve) may be worn under the scrub top
White socks and/or white hosiery (with skirts)

Nursing Students

The clinical uniform must be purchased through the approved vendor (https://sju.estore.shop/) and consists of the following:

Light gray pair of scrub pants or skirt (skirt may be no shorter than knee length)
Light gray scrub top with the name of the University
With the permission of the instructor, agency or unit, a light gray snap-front warm-up jacket with the name of the University
With the permission of the instructor, agency or unit, a plain solid white shirt (short or long sleeve) may be worn under the scrub top
White socks and/or white hosiery (with skirts)

Footware

The clinical uniform must be purchased through the approved vendor (https://sju.estore.shop/) and consists of the following:

Shoes should be predominantly solid-colored, neutral shades and complimentary to scrub pants, including white/grey/navy blue/black (bright colors or patterns are not permitted)
Must meet the safety standards of the department/program
Leather or leather-like shoes are required (cloth or mesh shoes are not permitted)
Nonskid, closed-toe shoes are required
Sneakers and clogs are permitted (clogs must have a strap on the back)

Saint Joseph’s Paramedic Program Uniforms (Only)

Paramedic students are required to purchase at least one uniform shirt for their program (indicating "Paramedic student") from ProLook Uniforms. Boots (not steel-toe), belts and blue pants are required, but may be purchased from other vendors.
