The Advising Process
Academic Advising Support at St. Joseph’s University in Lancaster supports all students at the Lancaster location by providing advising and registration tools, resources, and planning. Undergraduate students are assigned a primary advisor in the Lancaster Advising Support Center, while Graduate students are assigned a faculty advisor within their program of study.
Through the advising process, we help students:
- Manage their transition to Saint Joseph’s University
- Develop an academic plan to complete program requirements for graduation
- Identify opportunities, resources, and services that will enrich their education

New Student Registration Sessions
New Fall 2024 Saint Joseph's University in Lancaster students are required to attend one advising session with the Lancaster Advising Support team in order to register for Fall 2024 classes. This session will cover course selection, self-registration, and a review of the New Hawks Portal. There are 48 seats available in each session and are first come first serve!
