The LEO program fundamentally changed my outlook on life, leadership and my potential impact on the world,

Today, Tedesco serves as a director of procurement strategy at HelloFresh North America. In her role, she is involved in strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, cost optimization, supply chain enhancements, market analysis and sustainability efforts.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, she was challenged with reconciling an enormous surge in supply and demand for meal kits with the skyrocketing price of food in order to meet the needs of subscribers.

“We heard from exhausted emergency workers who found solace in cooking HelloFresh meals after grueling shifts at the hospital,” Tedesco says. “These stories highlighted the real impact we had on people's lives during challenging times and inspired us to work even harder to meet their needs.”

Tedesco took on many leadership roles at Saint Joseph’s, which she associates with her professional success today. She was Student Body President, member of the Women's Rowing Team, an Orientation Leader, Relay for Life Co-Chair, a Resident Advisor and a member of the Dean's Leadership Program.

As an alumnus, she served a four-year term on the National Alumni Board. She was awarded the Food Marketing Rising Star Award in 2018. In 2019, Tedesco also received the Ignatius Award recipient as the youngest alumnus to ever receive a Alumni Leadership Award. She also continues to be an active and involved mentor for current LEO and Dean's Leadership Program students.

“The LEO program fundamentally changed my outlook on life, leadership and my potential impact on the world,” Tedesco says. “Ronald Dufresne, PhD's Perspectives on Leadership course challenged my thinking, guided my decision-making principles and fueled my belief in my capacity to drive change at both micro and macro levels.”
