- ALL DAY: MENTAL HEALTH CHECK-UP DAY @ SJU!
- Behavioral health — which includes mental health, substance use, and more — is a key part of your overall well-being. Brief screenings are the quickest way to determine if you or someone you care about should connect with a behavioral health professional. Take some time to get a "mental health check-up" using the following anonymous tools available to all SJU students:

Campus Safety Awareness Month (September 2023)
September is National Campus Safety Awareness Month (NCSAM). NCSAM offers an opportunity to raise awareness about the safety concerns, preventative measures, and services available to support a safe return to campus.

- Session 1: 8:00am-11:30am; Session 2: 11:30am-3:00pm; Session 3: 3:00pm-6:30pm
- The training offered by the CPR Leadership Team at SJU is American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS). This course is intended for students and faculty/staff who want to learn life-saving skills, especially those who need to document their completion of the CPR requirement or with certification expiring this semester. The session lasts ~3.5 hours. Please bring a pen - there will be a written exam. Please wear comfortable clothing. Capacity is limited. Basic Life Support certification is valid for 2 years. Please note there is a $30 fee (much less than the typical cost in the community) REGISTER HERE

- This training will help participants understand the impact of society's stigma of substance use disorders (SUD) and learn about inclusive language, the most up-to-date definitions of SUD, as well as causes and treatment options available. Through engaging activities and discussion, participants will gain the skills and confidence needed to provide support and a safe environment to anyone impacted by a substance use disorder. (Hosted by SJU's Collegiate Recovery Program)
