What is Workday?

Workday is an enterprise resource planning system that brings together a wide range of Human Resources and Financial Management functionality into one single, inclusive system. Workday houses our financial records as well as employee records, payroll, and benefits. The system promotes employee autonomy by putting access and information into employees’ hands, allowing for extensive self-service functionality. Workday provides process efficiencies across the University, empowering our community to make timely strategic decisions, and offers effective tools to improve how we operate as a higher-ed institution.

Workday Strategic Sourcing

Workday Strategic Sourcing officially launched on January 5, 2026. Workday Strategic Sourcing is a centralized platform designed to streamline and modernize how the University manages suppliers, sourcing events, and contracts. The system enhances visibility, standardization, and collaboration across departments, supporting more efficient and strategic supplier and contract management.
