Today is National Voter Registration Day! Are you registered to vote? No matter how you plan to mark your ballot on Election Day, it’s important to remember that your Jesuit education calls you to be an engaged citizen and a voice for justice. Your vote is one important way of honoring this call.

How to Register
It’s simple! Head to vote.gov to register to vote. You can also fill out the National Mail Voter Registration Form and mail in your form — be sure to do so well in advance of your state’s voter registration deadline. To be eligible to vote, you must be a U.S. citizen and be 18 years of age or older on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, 2020.

Important Registration Deadlines
Registration deadlines vary by state, but why wait? Registration takes less than two minutes. Sign up today to ensure your registration is received well in advance of your state’s deadline.

Not sure if you’re registered? Check here, even if you’ve voted in the past.

Voting Via Absentee/Mail-In Ballot
Whether you’re out of state or avoiding the polls due to COVID-19 concerns, you can request an absentee ballot to vote by mail. Note that rules and absentee deadlines vary by state and may have changed due to the pandemic. Learn more here.

Where to Vote as a Student
Did you know that you can choose to vote in the state where you attend college instead of your home state? Register using an on- or off-campus address here. Note that you must be a resident of Pennsylvania and the election district in which you want to vote for at least 30 days before the election.
