Colleges and universities have agreements with detachment at Saint Joseph's, meaning if you join AFROTC at Det 750, you'll train and work with a variety of students.
Programs and Services
Saint Joseph’s University offers a variety of resources, programming and services for active military and veterans and their dependents.
All military service members are advised to speak with their ESO (Educational Services Officer) or counselor within their respective Military Service prior to enrolling at Saint Joseph's University.

Financing Your Education
Post 9/11 GI Bill®
The education benefits provided by the Post-9/11 GI Bill® and Saint Joseph’s University allow veterans and their families with at least 36 months of aggregate service on or after September 11, 2011, and those discharged with a service-connected disability after 30 days, to attend SJU full or part-time with the cost of tuition covered. Individuals who have served 90 days to 36 months of aggregate service are eligible for a percentage of their tuition to be covered. Students are encouraged to verify eligibility of benefits with the VA and visit www.gibill.va.gov.
Once accepted to Saint Joseph’s University, eligible veterans will need to provide a certificate of eligibility to Saint Joseph’s Financial Aid Office. Students will need to apply for benefits at the beginning of each session they are registered for courses.
Post 9/11 GI Billl® benefits are available for 15 years after the veteran’s last day of active duty. Veterans may be able to transfer the tuition benefits to their children or family member.

Undergraduate Students
Air Force ROTC Detachment 750
Detachment 750 began at Saint Joseph’s University in 1951 and is the only Air Force ROTC detachment in the Philadelphia area. The 23 crosstown universities at Det 750 provide a great mixture of campus settings, affiliations and majors, along with respected educations. You will receive exceptional leadership training from the Detachment 750 staff as well. Det 750 was recognized as the best AFROTC detachment in the Northeast Region (among similarly sized detachments) by winning the 2011 High Flight Award.
