Family Days 2026!

Plant Sale Family Day | Saturday, May 2 | 10 AM – 1 PM

Join us on Saturday, May 2, for Family Day at the 2026 Barnes Arboretum Plant Sale – a day full of creativity, exploration, and springtime fun!

From 10 AM–1 PM, hop into the museum for hands-on activities:

Create felt flower art, watercolor butterflies, or colorful koinobori (Japanese carp streamers)
Explore the galleries and discover art in bloom with a spring scavenger hunt
Take a break and enjoy light snacks and refreshments available in the museum

Then take the adventure outside to the arboretum and see what you can discover on a garden scavenger hunt!

Family Days at the Maguire Art Museum

Get creative with us on Family Day! Our family days are typically held on Saturdays from 12-3 pm. They are free and open to the public! We have themed activities that are suitable for all ages. Visitors can also enjoy access to the 12-acre Barnes Arboretum.
