All were invited to campus to celebrate Saint Joseph's Philadelphia College of Pharmacy's Founders' Day as we commemorated its 1821 founding. President Cheryl A. McConnell offered remarks following the presentation of awards.

McNeil Science and Technology Center (STC)

  • 5 p.m. Student-led tours of Griffith Hall and the Marvin Samson Museum for the History of Pharmacy.
  • 6 p.m. Welcome and Registration
  • 6:30 p.m. Program and Presentation of Awards
  • 7 p.m. Reception - heavy appetizers, open bar and additional tours and demonstrations.

NOTE: No cost to attend.

The William Procter Jr. Award, was created in honor of William Procter Jr., PCP graduate, faculty member and widely considered the Father of American Pharmacy. This award recognizes an outstanding alum who exemplifies the entrepreneurial spirit of our founding fathers and has provided outstanding service to the College and profession. Congratulations to Dr. John Gans, PharmD '69!
