SJU Libraries will develop a new strategic plan in Spring 2026.  To support this process, we’re seeking feedback on your experiences with the Library and your interest in potential initiatives. Your input will help shape our future direction.  Over the past few years, SJU Libraries has successfully unified collections and services across its three campuses. October is American Archives Month Saint Joseph's University Libraries is a proud partner of Archives Month Philly, an annual celebration of archives, special collections libraries, and cultural institutions.  During the month of October, visit our library atrium to see three slide shows of digitized archival materials: Women at SJU, Early Images from SJU Press, and Selections from Our Poetry Collections. The slides will show at intervals on the screens in the atrium. Our slide shows use our digitized materials to highlight our Archival collections. From our Saint Joseph’s University Records; images from the 1970s show the start of co-education at the University. Also from that collection, images from the University Press during the 1970s-1990s, whose colorful graphics and text illustrate University events and programs. Our Poetry collections slide show gives images and short poems from the Allen Hoey Papers, JT Barbarese Papers, W.S. Di Piero Papers, and the Joseph Feeney Papers. Each presentation is between 5 and 10 minutes and will be shown on the three atrium screens throughout the day during all of October, 2025. Watch the slideshows.
