National Student Nurses’ Association (SNAP)
National Student Nurses’ Association is the official, professional association for future registered nurses. Membership in the National Student Nurses’ Association and the corresponding state constituent, Student Nurses’ Association of Pennsylvania, provides prospective registered nurses with professional development opportunities at the national and state levels for areas such as serving as a delegate to conventions; shaping legislative policies regarding the future of the profession, professional education and the health of the nation; learning from renowned nurse leaders; networking with peers from across the country; and earning national and/or state scholarships. Chapter-based activities to advance social justice and citizenship provide opportunities for networking within the chapter and are designed to support student participation at the national and state levels. Membership is open to both nursing programs well as pre-clinical students.
