The Student Health Center is a source of clear and up-to-date medical information and strives to care for the whole person, inclusive of sexuality and sexual health. This care is rendered in a confidential, non-judgmental, and welcoming environment.
Services
Services offered at the Student Health Center
- Sexually Transmitted Infection Testing and Treatment
- Testing can be charged to your insurance, or you can opt to pay out of pocket for the lab. The most common testing done is for: Chlamydia and N. gonorrhea, HIV, and Syphilis. Contact the Health Center for up-to-date pricing.
- Pregnancy Testing
- Free of charge.
- Trans Care — support services including administration of hormone therapy
- The health center does not prescribe hormones, but will administer free of charge. Please contact health@sju.edu for more information on accessing this service.
