Thanks for your interest in Saint Joseph's University. Just by taking the time to investigate this site, you're already getting a taste of and demonstrating our "not for spectators" spirit. At SJU, our students are active learners, taking full advantage of our rigorous Bachelor's degree programs, caring faculty mentors and special academic opportunities (like the Summer Scholars Program). Our students are also actively involved in the community, whether they're taking a service-learning class, soaking up the history and culture of Philadelphia, participating in an Immersion Program or cheering wildly for our NCAA Division I Hawks. Most importantly, they're actively living out our Jesuit mission, pursuing academic excellence so that they can use their education to work "with and for others."
