Criminal Justice Minor
Individuals with an understanding of and appreciation for the law can make important contributions to fields outside of law enforcement. A minor in criminal justice can compliment a wide array of disciplines from the social sciences to business. For example, an accounting major may benefit from knowledge of business law and prosecution of white-collar crime, while political scientists may be interested in the effect of crime on local elections.
A minor in criminal justice enhances students’ knowledge of the justice system and sheds light on a number of social justice issues.
