Continuing Education and Certificate Programs for Alumni
Overview
The graduates of our professional degrees require continuing education credits (CEC)—whether you call them CEs, ConEds, Professional Development Units—to maintain their licenses in their profession. Currently the University offers CECs for Pharmacists, Physical Therapists and Occupational Therapists.
In addition to CEUs, the University offers certificate programs as well. These non-degree programs are designed to give students mastery over a narrow subject area or topic.
Annual Pharmacy CEC programs
Advances in Pharmacy Practice
This continuing pharmacy educational program is developed for pharmacists to be kept up to date on pharmacy practice. The introduction of new drugs into the marketplace is one of the most important topics for pharmacists. It is equally important to understand current trends and therapeutic issues affecting pharmacy practice.
Annual Physical Therapy CEC programs
Vestibular Rehabilitation Continuing Education Series
A course series to advance the practice of vestibular rehabilitation by providing evidence-based and clinical reasoning education to physical therapists. These courses are appropriate for clinicians with entry-level or intermediate knowledge and skills who wish to advance toward a more specialized practice in vestibular rehabilitation. Testing for competency and advance knowledge is available for individuals who complete all courses.
All courses present current evidence-based management with face-to-face education and skill development, and supportive online components.
Discount is offered to alumni, clinical education partners and adjunct faculty.
