Recruiting: 1 Position for a 1-Year Fellowship
The Incyte Global Publications Fellowship is a one-year, industry-based program designed to provide PharmD graduates with in-depth training and hands-on experience in the strategic planning, development, and execution of scientific publications within a global pharmaceutical environment. Fellows will work closely with the Global Publications team and cross-functional partners to support the dissemination of Incyte’s scientific data through peer-reviewed journals, congress presentations, and other scientific communication channels.
Fellowship Objectives
Gain comprehensive understanding of the global publications process including planning, development, review, and execution of scientific publications in alignment with industry standards and compliance requirements.
Develop skills in scientific writing/editing, data interpretation, and project management by contributing to the management and preparation of abstracts, posters, presentations and manuscripts for key congresses and peer-reviewed journals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Biostatistics, Regulatory, and Commercial to ensure accuracy, consistency, and strategic alignment of scientific communications.
Engage with external stakeholders including authors, key opinion leaders, and publication vendors to facilitate timely and high-quality publication deliverables.
Understand and apply Good Publication Practice (GPP) guidelines and other relevant policies to ensure ethical and transparent communication of scientific data.
Key Responsibilities
Support publication leads in the development and execution of global publication plans for assigned therapeutic areas and products.
Assist in the review of scientific abstracts, posters, oral presentations, and manuscripts.
Participate in cross-functional publication team meetings and contribute to strategic discussions regarding data dissemination.
Coordinate with internal and external authors, medical writers, and publication agency team members to ensure timely delivery of publication projects within budget.
Track and manage publication timelines, deliverables, and compliance documentation using publication management tools.
Conduct literature reviews and competitive intelligence to inform publication strategy and content development.
Ensure all publications adhere to company policies, industry guidelines, and legal/regulatory requirements.
