The Alliance for Catholic Education at Saint Joseph’s University (ACESJU) is a two-year fellowship program that provides recent college graduates the opportunity to serve as full-time teachers and administrators in under-resourced Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and Diocese of Camden while pursuing a master’s degree at either Saint Joseph’s University or Neumann University.

To prepare these highly motivated educators, ACESJU provides an intensive service experience encompassing four programmatic pillars:
ACESJU is modeled after the University of Notre Dame’s successful Alliance for Catholic Education (ACE) program and revitalizes quality urban Catholic education by providing a steady infusion of highly-trained educators. In June 2022, the program proudly welcomed its 12th cohort of 13 fellows who represent a diverse and talented group of young adults.
Saint Joseph’s University teaches students to think critically, pursue social justice, and find God in all things. Saint Joseph's faculty and staff are dedicated to the ongoing development and support of urban educators in this mission. Saint Joseph's University education degrees offer certification in the following:
- PreK – 4
- Middle Years (4-8)
- Secondary (7-12)
- Reading Specialist
- Special Education
- Administrative/Counseling fellows have an option of receiving an MS in Organization Development And Leadership from Saint Joesph’s University, MS in Business and Strategic Leadership from Neumann University or an MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
