  • We are the official student section of Saint Joseph's athletics, offering students the chance to enjoy Hawks games in a unique way. We aim to increase everyone's school spirit and make their time on Hawk Hill more enjoyable by bridging the gap between the average student and the university's sports teams.

  • Alpha Epsilon Delta is a national honor society founded in 1926 to recognize and encourage excellence in students seeking careers in the health professions. The society now boasts 190 chapters and over 160,000 members of which about 7000 are current undergraduates. Saint Joseph’s began the Pennsylvania Eta Chapter of AED in 1968 and has inducted over 1300 members in the past 51 years. Membership is selective and students must meet the academic standards of the organization by maintaining a minimum 3.3 grade point average in both their science courses and overall curriculum, as well as demonstrating a commitment to the health professions. Students are eligible for membership beginning in the spring semester of their sophomore year.

  • Alpha Gamma Delta is an international women's fraternity that promotes academic excellence, philanthropic giving, ongoing leadership and personal development and above all, a spirit of loving sisterhood. Guided by our purpose, Alpha Gamma Deltas strive to attain a higher standard, thereby improving their lives, the lives of those around them and the communities in which they live.   • Gamma Epsilon Philadelphia City Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated is a chapter of dynamic, radiant and distinguished young women.   • The Saint Joseph’s University American Marketing Association is a collegiate chapter of the American Marketing Association, that provides an environment focused on the professional development of students. The SJU AMA is devoted to helping its members, student body and community make great strides in teaching, communicating and connecting with a plethora of marketing resources.

    Our chapter provides a fun and exciting environment that allows students to be exposed to industry professionals who educate our members on trends within the industry and share valuable advice for a successful future.   • Alpha Phi Omega National Service Fraternity provides a foundation of leadership skills to its members that is developed through service to others. As the largest Greek-letter organization as well as the largest collegiate service organization, the work of its chapters since 1925 has had significant impacts on individuals, campuses and communities for decades. Each year, APO members record more than 1 million hours of service, and this number continues to grow because of APO’s devoted membership.

  • The Art Club's mission is to make art and give Saint Joseph's a creative hub.

  • The Autism Club at Saint Joseph’s University is a group of action-oriented students at Saint Joseph’s University that aims to become advocates for autistic individuals and bridge the gap between SJU students of all abilities.

    The purpose of this club shall be: Provide peer support and promote self-advocacy, Bridge the gap between neurodiverse and neurotypical peers and Create a lasting change of how autism is viewed, on and off campus

  • The mission of Beta Gamma Sigma is to encourage and honor academic achievement in the study of business and personal and professional excellence in the practice of business. This mission is exemplified in the five objectives of the Society. They are:

  • Our mission is to mentor local youth students in the area.

  • Our mission is to provide a strong support system for African American students on campus, to create an atmosphere that focuses on promoting the social, cultural and academic well-being of Saint Joseph's African American members.

  • Bridging The Gap (BTG) is a proactive and progressive organization that aims to promote awareness of ALL diversities and underrepresented lifestyles and ethnicities in order to create a more welcoming and accepting environment at Saint Joseph’s University. BTG strives to create a cohesive community amongst the student body, faculty, and administration to spread the message of unity and embrace the beauty and celebration of diversity with the support of the entire campus community.   • BITS is a networking, service and social organization for the BIA major. We typically host 6-10 speaker events and support the Career Center with Talk with Hawks, Career Fair and Industry Events. We also host several service activities and help acclimate students to BIA.

  • College Republicans is a club designed to bring together republicans on campus and engage in hot topics of conversation.   • The staff of the Crimson and Gray solicits creative writing and visual art from the undergraduate student body, decides which submissions are strongest and produces a literary magazine each spring.

  • The Haub School of Business offers a four-year co-curricular leadership development program for all SJU undergraduate students from the Haub School of Business or from the College of Arts and Sciences. They need to be committed to learning more about the concept of leadership broadly and exploring their own perspective, experience, and trajectory of leadership specifically. Students will learn a distinctively HSB and Jesuit framework of leadership that is values-based, reflective and biased toward serving others. The program is designed to be progressive in nature, building on the skills, lessons and experiences of the previous year(s), with increasing demands and responsibilities. The Dean’s Leadership Program will directly contribute to the formation of our students and will be another distinctive feature that will distinguish the HSB and SJU from other schools and universities.

  • Delta Delta Sigma at Saint Joseph's University strives to provide pre-dental students with an ample amount of opportunities to learn more about the dental field.   • The Economics Society exists to provide all students interested in the field of economics opportunities to engage in economic debate and discussion through student and faculty presentations, panel discussions, publications, films, lecturers from outside the SJU community, and expeditions to sites of economic interest.   • Phi Sigma Sigma is a sorority focused on philanthropy, school and college readiness and cystic fibrosis. 

  • Philadelphia Cleanup Initiative is a student-run, collegiate club. The main purpose of the club is to not only bring recognition to the amount of litter that pollutes the parks of Philadelphia but also to create action towards having this litter removed and properly disposed of in the future.

  • We meet up once a week and have open and civil conversations about Philosphical topics. We come together and break down certain subjects and include our own thoughts and feelings.

  • PILOT prepares students for success by exposing them to the healthcare industry through networking and leadership opportunities so that they will have a competitive advantage upon graduation.

  • Our mission is to provide SJU’s pre-physician assistant students a community of support.   • SJU Relay for Life is a campus-wide fundraising event for the American Cancer Society. Each April, we hold our event in Hagan Arena where we celebrate our fundraising efforts and honor survivors and those passed. We raise money for cancer research, to help those suffering with medical bills, to decrease the prevalence of cancer, and to better the lives of patients and caretakers.

  • The purpose of the club is to provide an opportunity for students of any major interested in investing to learn about and practice trading in a low stakes environment. The club does trade real dollars and instead “paper trades” with a fictional sum that is “invested” as per real market prices in stocks, bonds, etc. Members of the club meet bi-weekly to vote on buying, selling, or holding certain assets. Dividing into teams, members research specific sectors of the stock market and then pitch their stock ideas to the other members who vote on what decisions to make in the club-wide portfolio. An optional individual competition portion of the club allows members to manage fictional money on their own and attempt to be the most profitable in the club.

  • The purpose of the SJU Irish Dance Club is to teach, practice, and perform Irish Step Dance. We are created by individuals who are interested in continuing their background of Irish Dance and want to share it with others. The goals of the club are to teach and practice the fundamental of Irish Dance, choreograph dances, perform choreography in the SJU community and Philadelphia community, and to compete in the Colligate Irish Dancing Competition.

  • The Panhellenic Council governs the five NPC-recognized sororities located at Saint Joseph's University: Alpha Gamma Delta, Alpha Omicron Pi, Alpha Phi, Phi Sigma Sigma and Sigma Sigma Sigma.   • The purpose of this organization is to encourage the education and social awareness of Polish culture to its members and the SJU community at large. The club was founded to bring together students who take pride in their Polish heritage, to work together with other cultural organizations, and to promote the knowledge of international peoples. We seek to better inform the students of SJU of the opportunities to further their education in Polish language, culture, history and other aspects, through both informal events and academic programs.

Also, to provide information to the students from different admissions and therapists who can share their journey and personal experiences.

We hope to introduce people to new games they haven't played before, meet other people who are also like playing games, host larger events on campus, and much more.   • SJU Theatre Company is the premiere theatre producing organization at Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. It has produced plays & musicals on the campus of Saint Joseph's University for over 80 years. The theatre company is supported by the Department of Music, Theatre & Film which offers courses in performance (acting, directing, musical theatre), music and film. It is also supported by the Department of English, offering courses in dramaturgy, playwriting, and dramatic literature. Productions are performed in Bluett Theatre, a 440 seat proscenium theatre on the campus. Productions are directed by faculty and and often incorporate professional guest artists (musical directors, choreographers, designers, etc) from both Philadelphia and New York City.

  • The SJU Walking Club is geared towards students who don't prefer running or are interested in getting out a few times a week to meet new people, get fresh air and be active. The club will meet in person for walks as well as have personal weekly challenges like going on a walk with your roommate or a new friend, on a trail you've never walked on before, walk at least five miles this week, etc. Members will also use the app called "Strava" which allows you to invite people to your group to share their exercise and in this case their miles, and you can follow other users on the app. There will also be a GroupMe for means of communication and an Instagram account to post the challenges, progress, other news and constant promotion of the club. In general, the club will be very relaxed and a fun way for students to come together, get outside and explore the area.

  • As members of the Northeast Women's Volleyball Club League (NWVCL), we compete year-round with club teams from surrounding universities and colleges. We not only scrimmage with local schools such as UPenn and Drexel but also participate in 2-3 tournaments per semester that require traveling. We are looking for women who have experience playing volleyball competitively in high school, and wish to continue their commitment to a team while having fun at the same time!

All undergraduate SJU students of all sexual orientations and gender identities are welcome. Pride strives to create holistic experiences for all members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Pride works toward an inclusive understanding of sexual orientation and gender identity in the context of and as it intersects with race, religion, ethnicity, nationality, ability, socio-economic status, and culture.

  • The Saint Joseph’s University SHRM chapter provides students with the opportunity to launch their careers by hosting developmental events, unifying students, and connecting with professionals. SJU SHRM is an interactive way to learn more about human resource management through attending on and off campus activities, guest speakers’ lectures, workshops, and meetings.   • The Society of Physics Students is a professional association for physics students. The society has international participation and is open to all interested in physics. We run various physics-oriented events on and around campus and aims to promote the sciences.

  • The Sports Marketing Club aims to prepare and guide individuals who want to pursue a career in sports. This is done through workshops, networking events and having guest speakers who share their experiences with the club.

  • The mission of this organization is to bring together current and future educational professionals in the area to empower and connect with local public schools.

  • Female SJU undergraduate students interested in singing, beatboxing and/or arranging music come together for three hours once a week to sing, network, and support one another. The Belles have one concert per semester and participate in several on-campus performances ranging from the national anthem at hockey games, Hawkfest, invitationals and dance marathons. The Belles also participate in various fundraising efforts throughout the year.

  • The purpose of this club is to bring students together and to create a place where students can share their love for ABC's hit show "The Bachelor." The club will have discussions, club meetings and events all regarding the show in order to provide a fun way to get connected in a similar interest.

  • Alpha Alpha Alpha (Tri Alpha) National Honor Society (Beta Lambda Chapter) gives students an opportunity to meet other first-generation scholars from all academic disciplines on the campus and to join them in promoting academic excellence and creating a supportive environment for first-generation college students.

  • We seek to through a student-run club the form of speeches, and policy debates, we wish to inform, persuade, entertain and convince those at other colleges and universities to recognize and come aware of issues of great importance as well as host the annual Villiger High School tournament for over 40 years.

  • WLI encourages and empowers students who identify as women to be leaders wherever they may find themselves. We promote a safe gender-inclusive environment that fosters conversations about feminist issues. The initiative identifies and mentors female students who want to take an active leadership role. WLI members have the opportunity to plan events, coordinate guest speaker engagements, and attend conferences and workshops that focus on the importance of women in leadership positions.
