Our Doctor of Educational Leadership (Ed.D.) and Certification Program prepares transformational leaders across K-12, higher education, and social sector fields who are committed to equity-oriented change.

The Clinical Mental Health Counseling M.S. program at Saint Joseph’s University will prepare you to work as a licensed counselor serving clients, including individuals and families, who struggle with addiction, relational difficulties, self-harm, thoughts of suicide and mental health disorders such as anxiety and depression. The 60-credit program includes 700 hours of supervised fieldwork and an optional built-in certificate in addiction counseling.

Offered online or on-campus, the Health Informatics M.S. is just 33 credits, at $905 per credit.

Offered on campus or online with four concentration options including diversity, belonging and inclusion, this 24-month master's program is an affordable $905 per credit.

Today, almost every classroom includes a number of students with disabilities -- either physical, educational, emotional, or a combination of all three. Our innovative curriculum is designed to develop and refine competencies in professional educators in order to meet the demands of teaching students with special needs in a variety of school environments, public and private, urban and suburban.

The Addiction Counseling Certificate program at Saint Joseph’s University will prepare you to work as a certified addiction counselor. This 12-credit, fully online program can be completed in as little as two semesters or combined with the M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. If not taken as part of the M.S. program, a relevant graduate degree is a required prerequisite.

Those diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder may have difficulty communicating and interacting with others and exhibit limited or repetitive patterns that impact their ability to function at school, work or other areas of life.

Saint Joseph's University Deaf and Hard of Hearing Education PK-12 Certification program is designed to serve those interested in the education of the 40 to 50 percent of children impacted by hearing loss.

Saint Joseph’s University’s English as a second language (ESL) specialist program prepares individuals who possess Level I or Level II instructional certification to teach non-native speakers of English to be proficient in speaking, reading and writing English.

A Certificate in Health Informatics focuses on hands-on skills taught by industry leaders using and implementing advanced health information technology. Just 12 credits, this certificate can be completed in as little as 8-12 months.

Social and emotional (SEL) learning is the process by which children and adults acquire the skills necessary for managing emotions, showing empathy, establishing and maintaining positive relationships, making responsible decisions, and setting and achieving positive goals. These skills must be practiced in social contexts, including classroom and school environments. This endorsement will prepare you to help students develop these skills.

The online Wilson Reading System® certification program at Saint Joseph's University provides teachers with the skills needed to help students become fluent, independent readers by using multi-sensory, structured language methods and strategies to teach reading and spelling successfully. SJU’s online Wilson Reading System® (WRS) certification program covers the fundamentals of the WRS so educators can successfully implement this literacy development program in the classroom.
