There are no printable tickets for the picnic. Registration is at the Foley Center between 11:30 am - 3:00 pm where you can pick up your wristbands that will allow you entry onto the lawns for the picnic.

Yes, anyone wishing to attend the picnic needs to purchase a ticket. All SJU students, regardless of their age, should purchase the “youth” ticket. If your student is 21+, be sure to tell the registration staff that you need a 21+ wristband, not the “youth” wristband.

Yes, wristbands will be available for purchase at the Foley Center between 11:30 am - 2:45 pm. There will be a $5 increase per ticket for walk-up purchases.

No, the picnic is the only event on Sept. 20th that requires a paid ticket. All of the other events are free - including Quizzo which begins at 3:15 on St. Mary’s Lawn, as well as “Stuff-a-Pillow,” Mister Softee and Kettle Corn which will all be in the parking lot next to Claver House between 12:00 - 3:00 pm.

The Hawk will be at the Women’s Soccer game (1:00 pm) and at the Family Day picnic at approximately 1:30 pm, flapping around the picnic looking for people who want a selfie! THWND!

We ask that everyone park at Hawk’s Landing, the university parking garage located next above the Bookstore and Starbucks on 54th Street. Parking is free and Public Safety will be running a continuous shuttle from the garage to the site of the picnic from 11:30 am - 4:30 pm.

For family members who need to be dropped-off closer to the picnic site, you are welcome to drive onto Lapsley Lane and there will be a Public Safety officer at a gate that leads to the picnic area. You can either drop-off (and then park your vehicle at Hawk’s Landing) or ask to be directed to the limited mobility parking.

On Family Day, one of our guest rooms in McShain Hall will be available upon request. Simply ask the desk attendant for the key to the guest room they will direct you.

For the safety of all of our guests, as well as your pets, we do not allow pets of any kind at the picnic on Family Day. We thank you for your cooperation!
