Junior & Senior Students

Housing Options for Upper-Level Students

As an upper-level (rising junior, senior, professional/graduate) student, you have the ability to live in off-campus (non-SJU operated) housing for next year. SJU has an  OFF-CAMPUS HOUSING PORTAL, serving both the Hawk Hill and University City locations. This resource allows you to search and compare different housing options near campus, as well as connect with other SJU students as possible roommates.

 

While the school year progresses, The Office of Residence Life will continue to monitor our housing availability for the Hawk Hill campus. We anticipate having limited availability in SJU-operated housing that can be offered to upper-level (rising juniors, seniors, graduate & professional) students.

Due to the limited availability, these options will be offered through a Housing Lottery. To help inform next steps, please complete the following survey to indicate your housing plans for the 2026-2027 academic year.
 

2026-2027 Upper Level Housing Survey


Information collected in this survey will be utilized to understand interest in on-campus housing at Hawk Hill. Additional details related to specific housing options will be shared prior to the Housing Lottery early in the Spring semester. 

Upper Level Hawk Hill Housing Lottery Timeline:

  • Housing Lottery Sign-Up Form becomes available for upper-level (rising juniors, seniors,  graduate, professional) students.

  • Lottery selection completed and communicated to the students. If selected, students must complete a Housing Agreement to confirm a placement.

  •  Housing Agreements due to confirm a placement if selected in the Lottery.

  • Second Lottery selection completed if spaces remain available after the first lottery.

  • Housing Agreements due to confirm a placement (following the 2nd lottery notifications).

If you are exploring off-campus housing options, we encourage you to utilize the Off-Campus Housing Portal. This tool allows you to:
 

  • Search within a specific radius of Hawk Hill or University City
  • Connect with other SJU students looking for roommate
  • Explore Sublet opportunities
