Welcome Week includes events and activities that will help you get connected to your campus and classmates, feel supported as you navigate college, and prepare for successful years at Saint Joseph's University

    New to campus or just have questions about SJU? Come out to Chapel Lawn & Foley Lawn to Ask a fellow Hawk! 

    So Long Summer | 4:00PM - 6:00PM | Chapel Lawn

    Join Hawk Hill Productions as they kick off the Fall Semester by celebrating the Last Day of Summer. Come out and enjoy dunk tank, obstacle course, surfboarding, acai bowls, henna, and airbrush tattoos.

    Join Hawk Hill Productions for their annual Tie Dye event. There will be free t-shirts given out at the beginning of the event to tie dye. Once you tie dye stay to axe throwing and s'mores!

    Join Residence Life and Student Support & Well-Being by cooling down with some Rita's inbetween classes!

    Join Hawk Hill Productions in welcoming a celebrity guest to campus! Free tickets will be available starting at 12PM on August 25th on sju.edu/tickets.

    Join the Center of International Programs for a Study Abroad 101 general information session to learn more about studying abroad.

    Get involved on campus by coming out and meeting all the organizations that SJU has to offer! 

    Free Money Game Show | 7:00PM | Campion Doyle North Banquet Hall

    Calling all pop-culture fanatics! Go wild in a “Name That Tune” style trivia game covering music, movies and TV. There’s no wonder why this is our most popular game show.

    Scoring the most points gets you FREE MONEY! It’s as simple as that! It’s like a modern version of “Name that Tune” but with all of the best of pop culture. The audience will guess the answers right on their very own phones when they know the song, movie theme, TV theme or movie quote that was played. Disney, Broadway, Rap, Rock, Netflix, Hip Hop, Nickelodeon and Movie Franchises are just a few of the categories you’ll hear in this game.

    In the FREE MONEY Game Show, everyone plays! There are multiple winners throughout the game and 4 different rounds to the game, so there are many chances to win FREE MONEY!

    "Stop by the Center for Inclusion & Diversity on the 2nd floor of Campion to explore the student lounge spaces and learn more about the resources and support the office provides.

    Puppy Yoga | 4:00PM | O'Pake Recreation Center | $5

    Join Hawk Hill Productions to unwind, stretch, and cuddle! Join us for a relaxing yoga session with adorable puppies. No experience needed—just bring your mat and good vibes! $5 tickets will be available starting at 1PM on August 25th on sju.edu/tickets.

    Lawn Games & Lounge | 7:00PM | Sr. Thea Bowman Patio

    Join Residence Life & The Collegiate Recovery Program to kick back and relax with friends! Enjoy classic lawn games, comfy lounge seating, and good vibes all around. Whether you're here to compete or just chill, there's something for everyone!

  • Class of 2028 Day of Service | 10:00AM - 1:30PM | Gorgas Park

    A great way to meet new people and spend time in nature. Check out the university calendar for registration.

    Phillies Game | 6:05PM | Citizens Bank Park | $10

    Join HHP for a night at the ballpark! Buses depart from Cardinal Avenue at 5:00PM. $10 tickets will be available starting at 2PM on August 25th on sju.edu/tickets.

  • Philadelphia Zoo | 12:00PM | Philadelphia PA | $10

    Join Hawk Hill Productions for a wild adventure to America’s first zoo—the Philadelphia Zoo! Discover over 1,000 animals, stroll through beautiful exhibits, and enjoy a fun-filled day with friends. Transportation and admission included! Bus will depart from Cardinal Avenue at 12:00PM. $10 tickets will be available starting at 3PM on August 25th on sju.edu/tickets.

  • King of Prussia Trip | 12:00PM | King of Prussia, PA

    Last minute shopping, grabbing a bite to eat, or going to see a movie? We got you covered! Take a shuttle bus departing from Cardinal Avenue at 2:00PM. Free tickets will be available starting at 11AM on August 25th on sju.edu/tickets.
